International Health Certificates
Preparing to travel with your pet? You are most likely going to need a Health Certificate. Below you will find valuable information to help walk you through the process, as well as different forms you will need to complete.
Unfortunately, the process is not as simple as most would think. Every country has different rules and requires different documentation proving your pet is healthy and vaccinated. Obtaining the necessary documentation can be complex, and in some cases, the process can take up to 6 months. We are here to help! Our team has successfully assisted pet owners prepare for travel domestically and abroad.
We are here to walk you through the process every step of the way to help make sure your pet has all the facilitated testing, vaccines, exams, and medication that is required for your country of choice.
Before you make an appointment for your Health Certificate, you will need your pet's full medical history, an ink signed rabies certificate from your veterinarian, travel dates, address where you will be staying, the airline you will be flying with, our International Health Certificate Questionnaire filled out as best as possible, and our International Health Certificate Waiver. Please be aware that each airline has their own requirements, along with some airports that you may be flying to. We do require a $75 non-refundable deposit at the time of booking your initial appointment as there is a lot of time involved from staff before hand, however, this does go towards your visit with our doctor! If you have questions about your country's requirements, you can visit the USDA’s Pet Travel Website: https://www.aphis.usda.gov/aphis/pet-travel.
We look forward to working with you and wish you safe travels!
